Get to Know Carolyn
Seeing the Whole Picture
Carolyn is an accomplished attorney with a diverse educational background, including a bachelor’s degree from Denison University, a master’s degree from Pace University, and a law degree from The University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, Carolyn relocated to New York City where she taught middle school science while simultaneously earning her master’s degree in teaching. Her passion for children led her to then pursue a legal education where she concentrated on the areas of child welfare and family law.
Following her graduation from law school, Carolyn served as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Ann Gail Meinster in Jefferson County. She then transitioned to private practice where she vigorously represented parents in child welfare cases. Carolyn has defended hundreds of clients in cases filed by the Department of Human Services and has conducted countless court trials.
Carolyn has also worked as a court-appointed Guardian ad litem where she has represented the interests of children in child welfare and truancy cases and has ensured that their voices are heard.
Outside of her professional endeavors she enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending quality time with her two children, husband, and two dogs.
