Get to Know Joe
Your Coach For the Courtroom
Joe stands out at assisting clients through the family law process by helping them make reasonable decisions to protect their finances, and most importantly, maintain and foster positive relationships with their children.
Joe received his Bachelor of the Arts in History and graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Afterwards, he attended law school at the University of Colorado School of Law. During law school, Joe began his focus on family law, receiving a certificate in Juvenile and Family Law with honors. He received additional family law experience as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Michael J. Vallejos on the domestic relations docket in the Denver District Court, and participated in Colorado Law’s Family Law Clinic, representing indigent persons with divorce and parental responsibilities matters in Boulder District Court.
After graduating from Colorado Law, Joe served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas F. Mulvahill of the Boulder District Court on a domestic relations docket. He then practiced as an associate attorney with a large Denver law firm, focusing on domestic relations law with an emphasis on complex financial and parental responsibilities cases. Finally, before transitioning to Colorado Legal Group, Joe developed and managed the family law practice group for a Northern Colorado law firm.
Joe has successfully handled cases throughout the State of Colorado. While he is confident, poised, and prepared in the Courtroom, he is an equally effective advocate at the negotiation table.
