Kristi graduated from the University of Denver’s Korbel School of International Studies with a Master’s Degree in Conflict Resolution. She also earned her JD from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. This educational background provides Kristi with advanced tools for solving problems outside the courtroom when negotiations and settlements can be achieved. Kristi values collaboration and strives to empower clients during what can be an overwhelming and intimidating process.
Kristi has extensive practice as a civil litigator in the field of child welfare. Kristi’s background includes presenting complex issues of child abuse and neglect to juries and courts. Kristi has also tackled difficult jurisdictional and paternity issues. Kristi has argued cases in front of the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court. Because of her direct work with children and her legal experience in child welfare, Kristi has a unique perspective on child custody disputes and family law cases. Kristi helps clients prioritize the best interest of their children while providing exceptional litigation services, making her a strong advocate for divorce and family law clients in Colorado.
