Fearless Representation
Laura graduated from CU Boulder with degrees in Psychology and Philosophy. While working in the Psychology Department’s Wellness, Health, and Relationship Functioning Lab, Laura studied the adverse effects of relationship dysfunction on mental and physical health. Understanding the deeper costs of a broken relationship gave rise to Laura’s interest in family law, and it still drives Laura’s passion in advocating for her clients and their children. Laura also focused in abnormal and developmental psychology along with peace and conflict studies, all of which inform her strategies and approach to each family law case.Â
Laura earned her Juris Doctorate from Colorado Law School, and she has experience in districts all over Colorado. Laura applies the full spectrum of her education and experience, and she prides herself on zealous representation that provides a safe and compassionate space for each client. Laura is especially zealous about advocating for survivors of domestic violence and abuse, along with children with special needs. To bolster her skills in representing, Laura engages in continuing education on the cycle and psychological impacts of domestic violence, and she has consulted with a reputable trauma-therapist along with an expert in parental alienation.
