Get to Know Steven

Serving More than Meals

I became a fanatic for cooking when I was given the opportunity to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for over 250 people while serving as a volunteer in Peace Corps Moldova. Creating the opportunity for so many people from all over the country to sit down and enjoy a good meal was wonderful. It was during that experience that I learned that there is more than one way to prepare a dish, and being flexible as the cook in the kitchen is the key to a successful meal. I carry this enthusiasm into my representation of my clients by focusing on their goals and understanding that there are many ways to achieve those goals.

Meet Steven

Steven is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and Suffolk University Law School in Massachusetts. Steven was on the dean’s list all three years and graduated cum laude. Following his graduation from law school he worked as a public defender in Colorado where he advised and advocated for his clients during their most stressful moments. Later, Steven worked for the Mesa County District Attorney’s office. It is at the District Attorney’s office where he learned to quickly craft a persuasive message that is effective before the judge.

Steven’s years of experience and thousands of hours of in-court litigation gives him the ability to effectively handle the most complex issues in the moments it matters most. He is also not afraid to fight for what’s right.

Steven believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to family law. Instead, through coordination with his client, Steven works hard to craft a bespoke strategy to achieve his client’s needs.
